Office for the Aging Public Hearing
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Allegany County Office for the Aging will conduct an annual Public Hearing on Friday, September 25th at noon, at the Genesis Bible Church, located at 4193 State Route 19 in Scio, NY. The Allegany County Office for the Aging will provide information on its proposed plan for aging services for the year. The public is invited to attend and provide feedback on existing and needed services for individuals 60 and over in Allegany County.
Doors for the event will open at 9:00 a.m. and will offer programming on overall health and wellness such as scam prevention, advanced planning, blood pressure screening, flu shots, and demonstrations of local fitness programs for older adults. Resources and information on community supports and services will also be available.
